India to have at least three debutants

The Men in Blue in all likelihood will field at least three debutants and that number may spring up to a record-equalling five in the opening match. The spin department will be filled in by all-rounder Washington Sundar and Ravi Bishnoi with Rinku Singh designated the number six spot. Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar and left-armer Khaleel Ahmed are in the running to make up the pace department.

The team has brought back Wessly Madhevere and Brandon Mavuta after the duo completed their four-month suspension for drug use. However, Belgium-born all-rounder Antum Naqvi will be the man in focus after having recorded an impressive start in the domestic circuit, including a First-Class triple hundred. Just five T20s old, Naqvi will be watched closely during the series.
