Akshay Kumar complains wife Twinkle Khanna kept elbowing him, didn’t let him watch her film: ‘Pucho kitni koni maari hai’ | Bollywood News

Twinkle Khanna, Akshay Kumar and Dimple Kapadia made a rare appearance as a family at the premiere of the film Go Noni Go at MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024. Produced by Twinkle, the film stars Dimple, and Akshay was present at the event to cheer for his wife and his mother-in-law. During the Q&A session, as soon as Akshay got a chance to ask a question, he revealed that Twinkle had not allowed him to watch the film in peace as she was too keen to get his feedback.

“Hello, it’s my wife’s film. My question is to the producer, ‘When is the next show?’ Because I couldn’t watch the film properly because my wife was sitting next to me and she was… baar baar koni maar maar ke kaisi lag rahi hai film? Kaisi lag rahi hai film? Toh main dekh nahi paya hun toh agla show kab hai? Mujhe puri film dekhni hai. (She kept asking me how is the film? So I haven’t watched it properly. When is the next show? I want to watch the full film),” he said.

As the crowd started laughing, one of the producers took the mic and said Twinkle was also one of the producers and so he can watch the film at home. Akshay continued to laugh and said, “Puch lijiye. Vahin hai meri biwi. Ki kitni koniyan maari hain ki kaisi hai meri film? (Ask her. My wife is there. How many times she has elbowed me and asked how is my film?)”

Go Noni Go is based on Twinkle’s story Salaam Noni Aapa. Alongside Dimple, the film also stars Manav Kaul and Rohan Mehra. The film is directed by Sonal Dabral and is co-produced by Sameer Nair, Atul Kasbekar and Tanuj Garg.
