Actor Ram Charan recently visited Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, accompanied by Buchi Babu Sana, the director of his upcoming film tentatively titled RC16. During his visit, the RRR actor offered prayers at the Sri Vijaya Durga Devi temple and the Ameen Peer Dargah, significant religious sites in the region. He also participated in a mushaira. However, the actor’s visit drew massive crowds, leading to chaos on the streets and prompting the police to resort to lathi charge to control the situation.

Ram Charan fulfilled an old request by AR Rahman to visit the revered dargah. Videos from the visit show the actor waving to a sea of fans from the sunroof of his car as they showered him with garlands and flower petals. Unfortunately, the overwhelming crowd led to police intervention, with officers using lathis to manage fans rushing toward his vehicle.

Clips of Ram Charan performing a puja at the Sri Vijaya Durga Devi temple have also gone viral. In the footage, the actor is seen engaged in the rituals while his bodyguards work to manage the crowd at the temple premises. The actor also offered the film’s script at the Goddess’ feet.

Ram Charan will next be seen in Game Changer, which will mark Bollywood actor Kiara Advani’s debut in Telugu film industry. Directed by Shankar, it is set to release on January 10, 2025, during Sankranthi. The actor’s next film with Buchi Babu Sana will feature another Bollywood actor, Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. Janhvi recently starred alongside Jr NTR in Devara.
