4-year-old girl killed as autorickshaw, bus collide in Kerala’s Thrissur

A four-year-old girl died after an autorickshaw collided with a KSRTC Swift bus at Ottupura, near Wadakkanchery, in Thrissur, Kerala, in the wee hours on Wednesday (January 8, 2025). The deceased is Noor Fathima, a resident of Mullurkara.

The accident occurred when the autorickshaw, which was on its way to take the child to the hospital following stomach pain, was hit by the bus. The child’s parents, Unais (32) and his pregnant wife Reyhanath (28), were injured in the incident. They have admitted to Thrissur Medical College Hospital.

The incident took place around 1:30 am.

Reyhanath, suffered severe injuries to her leg. The child’s body is currently being kept at the hospital and will be handed over to the relatives after a post-mortem examination.
