Inauguration of Project Siddhi by Sub Divisional Magistrate Khargone on Handloom Day.
Khargone I Project Siddhi was launched under the aegis of Shivalik Jan Kalyan Samiti, India ITME Society & Ministry of MSME DI Indore.
National Handloom Day was celebrated in Kasrawad Art Cluster and Project “Siddhi” for teenage girls was inaugurated by Shri Sangh Priya (Sub Divisional Magistrate, Kasrawad District Khargone). Under this project, free sanitary kits were distributed to the girls and the aspect related to personal hygiene was highlighted by renowned Gynecologist Dr. Prajakta Jirati. MSME DI Asst. Director Shri Aggarwal called for udhyam registration and MSME Asst. Director Shri Gaurav Goyal motivated girls to join the cleanliness and hygiene campaign.
Shri SS Mandloi from GMDIC Khargone congratulated the girls for being a part of the project “Siddhi” and urged the girls to spread a word on hygiene. Sanitary pads for sanitary kits were contributed by Prachi Agarwal and Sandhya Gupta from Indore which is a commendable step.
The process of pad disposal was explained to the girls by Smt. Neetu Mehrunkar, Secretary, Khadi Village Industries Society.
The Sub divisional Magistrate Shri Sangh Priya, District Khargone congratulated Seema Mishra, Secretary of Shivalik Jankalyan Samiti and founder of Kasrawad Art Cluster for the cluster and project accomplishment and ITME Society, Mumbai for taking this initiative in Kasrawad. The grand launch of Siddhi was concluded by honouring the master weavers Shri Hirdaram Chauhan, Gajendra Kewat, Sanjay Kewat on National Handloom Day.
