VIDEO | Champions Trophy experience of Varun, Harshit will benefit KKR: head coach Chandrakant Pandit

Kolkata Knight Riders head coach Chandrakant Pandit believes the side’s two players, spinner Varun Chakaravarthy and pacer Harshit Rana, will benefit the franchise a lot with their confidence level sky-rocketing after playing for India and being a vital cog in helping the national side win the Champions Trophy.

The Knights will begin their campaign with the opening match of the Indian Premier League 2025 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 22 at the Eden Gardens.

“They have been doing so well not only in the Champions Trophy but also for India and they have done well for the KKR as well in the last two seasons and they have been key players and we have more key players as well in Sunil Narine,”Pandit said during the KKR press conference in Kolkata on Thursday.

I am sure the advantage we are going to get is the confidence level that they are going to carry from the international level to KKR so that is the best part we look at.” he added.
