BLACKPINK’s LISA achieves 300 million views with THIS music video

It looks like BLACKPINK’s LISA is having a good solo career. One of the singer’s recent music videos has recently achieved 300 million views. According to a Korean news website, she achieved the same on May 19, 2025 with her song ROCKSTAR. Interestingly, it became LISA’s third music video to reach this incredible mark. The other two videos are MONEY and LALISA.

LISA’s vivacious music video, ROCKSTAR, was released on June 28, 2024. It was the lead single for her debut album Alter Ego. Fans love LISA’s look in the music video. Her makeover as a rowdy persona made way for her debut studio album. Fans also love the lyrics in the song. The line “Lisa, can you teach me Japanese?” has been well-appreciated as a nice fit to the song.

Alter Ego also comprises other songs, namely Born Again, Elastigirl, Thunder, New Woman, FXCK UP THE WORLD, Rapunzel and Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me). The last song has also performed well on social media.

While speaking about Alter Ego during a virtual discussion, LISA said, “I want people who listen to this album to feel confident and empowered. It’s fun, and it’s different. It’s a new Lisa—a different colour of Lisa. When asked which alter ego is her favourite, the singer said, “All of them! I think girls have different moods every day, so these five alter egos represent different sides of me.”

She added, “I didn’t want the songs to be too different from each other. I had to find the middle ground—different, but not too much. And choosing the right title track was the most challenging part.”

LISA is also preparing for a world tour with BLACKPINK. She recently attended the MET Gala, alongside her band’s members Jennie and Rose. She also collaborated with TYLA recently, in the song When I’m With You and with Maroon 5, in the song Priceless.
