EXCLUSIVE: Sachin-Jigar praise Shraddha Kapoor Ayushmann Khurranas songs

Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya are two of the most influential musicians in Bollywood. Music lovers are well aware that there is a Sachin-Jigar song for every mood and season. The musicians have worked in many important projects, including creating recent chartbusters for Stree, Stree 2, Munjya, and more.

During an exclusive interview with Filmfare, the musical duo opened up on the state of theatre in India while speaking about their upcoming theatrical production Rajadhiraaj. The duo also quipped about the actors who are musicians in the country and how more opportunities in theatre can take the Indian musical scene to great levels. While chatting with us, Sachin and Jigar praised Shraddha Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Jaaved Jaaferi for their singing abilities.

Jigar noted, “I would say, Ayushman (Khurrana) can literally sing. Jaaved Jaaferi and Shraddha Kapoor can sing, for that matter of fact. So, there are so many people who can sing. It just makes it damn real! Shraddha singing her own song…” About having numerous actor-musicians in India, Sachin said, “Yes, they are there. We have curated 20 of them out of 60 who were shortlisted. The actors were able to sing and the singers were able to act. So, that crossover is a very fine one. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but then that’s what it is, right? That’s what you’re paying money for.”
