Kim Kardashian fumes as Kanye West drags daughter North into Diddy track: ‘I sent you paperwork…’ | Hollywood News

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian reportedly had a heated argument after the rapper featured their daughter North’s vocals in his newly released track, “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine”. The song also includes disgraced US rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing multiple lawsuits, and his son Christian “King” Combs.

Reports say the Skims founder tried to block the release but was unsuccessful. Soon after, Kanye posted and then quickly deleted screenshots of a text exchange with Kim. In the messages, Kanye lashed out at her for trademarking North’s name.

Kanye West releases new track featuring North, Diddy and Christian Combs

Kanye West is publicly supporting Diddy. After those earlier posts where he called for “Free Puff” and even asked US President Donald Trump to step in and release him, Ye has now featured him in his new track, which starts with a voice that sure sounds like Diddy’s. In it, the Bad Boy record producer thanks the Yeezy rapper for looking out for his kids and reaching out, saying no one else has checked in for months. Ye, in return, raps some big praise, telling Diddy he “raised” him, even before they knew each other. The whole exchange feels like a love fest, with Diddy’s voice saying he’s feeling nothing but love these days.

Ye’s daughter then jumps on the track, rapping, “When you see me shining, then you see the light.” Christian “King” Combs also drops a verse, and there are vocals from Jasmine Williams, an artiste from Chicago.

Kim Kardashian trademarks North’s name, Kanye goes off

Kim Kardashian has trademarked North’s name, and Ye is clearly upset. In the screenshots Kanye posted on social media, Kim said she had already sent him paperwork asking him not to involve North in the song “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine”. The reality TV star seemed stressed, especially with their daughter’s name being dragged into a track tied to Diddy—who’s sitting in jail on charges like sex trafficking, assault, and racketeering. She even sent a cease and desist and tried to set up an emergency mediation with Kanye and a judge. But Ye didn’t show up. And he dropped the song anyway.

In the messages, Kanye went off about Kim trademarking North’s name. He accused her of using it to control things. Kim reminded him they had agreed she would handle the trademarks to protect the kids and that everything would go to them when they turned 18. In response, Kanye said, “Amend it or I’m going to war,” and even mentioned, “You’re going to have to kill me.” Sources close to Kim say her main focus is on protecting North. She doesn’t want her daughter involved in Kanye’s recent controversies or associated with Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles.
