Qila Games securing $1 Million to Create New Hybrid-Casual Games for India and the world

Qila Games is a young and visionary gaming start-up that operates in the hybrid-casual gaming category that combines the simplicity and mass appeal of casual games with deeper systems typically seen in midcore games. Heavily focused on delivering engaging, social inclusive gaming experiences for users, we are differentiated from RMG (Real Money Gaming) or esports from the standpoint of gaming formats.

We envision becoming a leader in hybrid-casual gaming, designing games that bring joy, social connection, and long-term engagement. Our focus lies in tapping into growing mobile gaming markets, particularly in regions like India and the Middle East, with games that are culturally relevant yet globally appealing.

Established in 2024, Qila Games, is a young team of engineers, designers and creative minds that have set on a mission to design games that sit in the middle of entertainment, social connection and skills enhancement for end users. Currently spearheaded by Dhananjai Hari and Neeraj Mishra, Qila Games operates in and is headquartered in Bengaluru.

Qila Games has successfully raised $1 million in the first round of funding in 2025, and is now backed by Visceral Capital and Chimera Venture Capital who share a similar vision of disrupting the hybrid-casual gaming space.
