Smartphone maker Honor announces investment from China Telecom and CICC Capital Corp By Reuters

SHENZHEN, China (Reuters) – Former Huawei Technologies unit Honor announced on Thursday it had received an undisclosed investment from partners including China Telecom (NYSE:) and a unit of CICC Capital Corp.

The Chinese smartphone maker announced last November it was pursuing an initial public offering, without disclosing a location or a timeframe for the listing.
