What happened the last time Virat Kohli played a Ranji Trophy match?
Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) president Rohan Jaitley confirmed on Monday that Virat Kohli will be available for selection for the side’s Ranji Trophy match against Railways, set to start on January 30.
“Kohli spoke to me and confirmed his availability for the Railways game,” said Jaitley.
What happened the last time Virat Kohli played a Ranji Trophy match?
Kohli’s last Ranji Trophy game came in 2012, against Uttar Pradesh in Ghaziabad.

The Indian batter scored 14 in the first innings and added 43 in the second foray. Kohli was dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar in both innings as Delhi conceded a six-wicket defeat.
Kohli made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2006 against Tamil Nadu. He has represented Delhi in 23 Ranji games, scoring 1574 runs at an average of 50.77.
The 36-year-old was earlier added to Delhi’s provisional squad for the Ranji game against Saurashtra in Rajkot. But, Kohli informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about his unavailability due to a a neck sprain that required him to take an injection.
