Yashasvi Jaiswal makes U-turn, requests MCA to allow him to play for Mumbai

In an U-turn, India international Yashasvi Jaiswal has requested the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to allow him to play for Mumbai in the upcoming domestic season.
This comes a couple of months after he sought an NOC from the MCA to play for Goa. However, in his e-mail, which Sportstar has seen, Jaiswal requested the association to withdraw the NOC.
“I, the undersigned, would request your goodself to consider my request in withdrawing my NOC given to me as I had some family plans in shifting to Goa which for now has been curtailed ! So I sincerely request MCA to allow me to play for Mumbai this season ,” Jaiswal wrote.
“I have not submitted the NOC to bcci nor to Goa Cricket Association,” he added.
However, the MCA is yet to decide on the future course of action.
Officials in the Goa Cricket Association, too, did not seem to have an idea about Jaiswal’s U-turn as they claimed to have not heard anything from the batter yet.
